It’s plain as day that our country needs a green revolution in order to save our planet. Once study recently came out where a scientist had come to the conclusion that about half of our planet could be unlivable by the year 2300 because of what humans have done to the planet in the last 200 years. Between mining, the burning of fossil fuels, oil spills, deforestation, overpopulation and the dumping of chemicals into our land and water supplies, earth is in big trouble. It’s going to take massive efforts and strict environmental regulation to even begin to reduce the amount of pollutants being put into the air, land and water now, not to mention reversing that damage.

What can you do to help? Every person has the ability to help the planet. Reducing, reusing and recycling can make all the difference in the world. Is there any need to bring home 20 plastic, one use bags home from the grocery store every week? No, there is no viable explanation for doing this. Everyone in America makes fun of Californians for their environmental concern. You know, those crazy Californians just might be on the right track.

Next time you go to the store, think about what you are buying and how it is packaged. You could easily reduce the amount of plastic being dumped into the landfills and oceans by simply pausing for a moment to think about what you are doing. Buy products that are packaged in easily recyclable plastics, glass and paper. For heaven’s sake, we even get paid to recycle! Why not do our part?

Imagine this scenario. You drive to your local grocery store by yourself. You buy things that you may use once and throw away. The groceries you buy are laden with chemicals. The packaging is automatically thrown in the garbage when you get home. the plastic bags you brought those groceries home in follow the product packages into the trashcan.

By changing simple, small habits, you can change the way you are hurting your planet. If you are only one person traveling to the store, drive a motorcycle, walk or take public transportation. This saves fossil fuels and your waistline. Go to your local farmers market for groceries and stop supporting the corporate farms that deliberately and knowingly hurt the environment. When you get home, don’t throw your plastic in the garbage. Rinse it off and put it in a recycling bin. And take your own cloth bags to the store to cut down on one use plastic bags in landfills.

Try to buy green, earth friendly products whenever possible. You can save yourself unnecessary trips to the supermarket by buying earth friendly cleaning chemicals, feminine hygiene products, industrial supplies for businesses, personal care items, adult incontinence products and restroom supplies here http://www.carecleaningandprotection.com/StoreCategory/Earth Friendly Products.aspx. Now go out and join the green revolution!

To call safe personal care products chemical free might be a bit misleading, as chemicals are nothing more than arrangements of atoms and molecules; in fact, a chemical known as dihydrogen oxide is necessary for life to exist at all; likewise, chemicals such as sodium chloride are needed in order to regulate many cellular functions. Of course, you may or may not have recognized those as being simple water and salt respectively; the point here is that safe cosmetics and chemical-free shampoos are not necessarily free of chemicals. They are however free of the harmfull and toxic chemicals that are used in the processing of most common commercial personal care products. When such products are labeled as safe personal care products, it means they have been minimally processed, and the use of synthetic dyes and perfumes has been eliminated.

Different Kinds of Safe Personal Care Products

Although the manufacture and marketing of organic, minimally-processed safe personal care products is a fairly recent phenomenon, it is a growing one. Such safe and natural products currently available include:

Chemical-free cosmetics

chemical free shampoo

Other natural skin care products

According to the Food and Drug Administration, most common commercially mass produced personal care products contain well over ten thousand different chemical ingredients – only about 1,100 that have been classified as safe.

One-third of these chemicals have been identified as carcinogenic.

When you choose chemical free shampoo, you’re likely to find dihydrogen oxide (H2O) listed as an ingredient – but you won’t see ingredients such as
Bezyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, ammonium sulfate or the mysterious substance with the nearly unpronounceable name of methylchoroisothiazolinone. In fact, a good rule of thumb is that when looking at the ingredients, if it sounds as if it came from a test tube and you can’t figure out what it is, stay away from it.

Chemical-free cosmetics are also free of artificial, synthetically-produced dyes (such as D&C Red No. 6 or FD&C Blue No. 1) or perfumes (which may contain propylene glycol, a primary ingredient in automotive anti-freeze). Instead, these safe cosmetics are made from harmless, natural minerals such as ochre, kohl and vegetable-based dyes – wholesome substances that have been used by humans since Neolithic times.

Make The Switch Now

If you’ve never enjoyed the benefits of using safe personal care products before, there’s no time like the present to make the switch. Using safe cosmetics, chemical free shampoos and other natural skin products will not only make you look better, you’ll feel better as well – and the use of safe personal care products will do the environment tremendous good as well.

We pay attention to the safety of our cars. You strive to ensure your family eats healthy foods. Many of these facets of concern have been pounded into our heads since we were little girls. Unfortunately, this same scrutiny is not applied to items with which we come into the closest contact. Are you sure your women’s personal care products are safe?

safe personal care products are a necessity for both your family and yourself. This ranges from your child’s soap to your collection of cosmetic products. Many women wrongly assume that cosmetics are just for fashion. This is not the case. A mineral cosmetic provides for both flawless appearing skin as well as UV ray protection. Safe cosmetics are both natural and often possess additional protective qualities.

Many undesirable ingredients work their way into commonly found women’s personal care products. Many cosmetic products are derived from petroleum products. These best remain in the tank of your car as opposed to residing on your skin. Mineral makeup, however, is fully natural and excludes micronized titanium dioxide which is another wonder of science best left in the lab as opposed to on your face. Safe cosmetics facilitate both healthy skin as well as beauty.

safe cosmetics are characterized by organic ingredients.  This differentiates them from many popular products which contain a litany of potential irritants and allergy triggers. Shampoos and conditioners often contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is best avoided. Similarly, deodorants with aluminum chlorhydrate are best left on the shelf as opposed to on the most sensitive of skin under your arms.

Women’s personal care products do not have to be manufactured with such ingredients. Many providers go the extra step to thoroughly scrutinize everything that goes into their products. They’ll produce a mineral cosmetic using kaolin clay instead of employing harsh artificial chemicals. As indicated, mineral makeup provides for a shield from the sun granting you additional years of wrinkle free skin.

It is not only women’s personal care products that require careful selection. Your entire family deserves the same benefits yielded to you from your organic cosmetic line. It is important to know what goes in everything from your kid’s toothpaste to your husband’s hair conditioner. Unfortunately, you know it is difficult enough to get them to pick up their clothes let alone be conscious of the compositions of the many products they reflexively use on a daily basis.

The chemicals used in many women’s personal care products don’t remain forever on your body. Upon bathing they end up swirling down the drain and right out into your local ecosystem. Many today are assuming personal responsibility for the substances they emit into the environment, and natural products allow for a feeling of satisfaction in this arena. Quality organic personal care products improve both your health as well as that of the wildlife around you.
