Christian Home Decor Displaying Faith Even At Your Residence – Let Your Home Be an Example of Your Faith
They say “Faith knows no boundaries.” Thus, showcasing your beliefs by using Christian home décor should not be a problem. Devoted Christians feel the need to let people know about their God and why they choose to believe him. Decorating their homes in Christian religious items or Christian related materials can help make a statement about their beliefs to any visitor.
There is no denying that your home says so much about your personality. Every time someone walks into your home, they immediately get a chance to see the kind of person you are. All they need to do is simply take a look at your décor and the interior of your home to get a general picture. Just one look can give them an idea of what things you hold dear and things you can do without. Thus, they can attribute characteristics by just basing it on what they see in your home and forming their judgments about you. Seeing religious décor in your house will provide an idea on how you view your faith.
Christian Home Decor and Art
Considered as work of art, religious home décor is surely a great piece to have in your home. They showcase the great faith of homeowners as well as make great gifts to families and friends. You can choose from a wider variety of Christian home décor, all you need to do is choose the one that you want. Deciding might take some time, especially if you consider the message it conveys to your guests. Having Christian home décor also serves as a reminder to your family about maintaining and staying true to your faith and lifestyle.
With this being the Christmas season, it would be good to add a Pre lit Artificial Christmas Trees

Target and even K-mart sometimes offer similar but cheaper products. They were actually sued not so long ago for selling decor in their stores that resembled Pottery Barns stuff. Also, you might want to consider looking on e-bay or Amazon marketplace, as they do have really good knock-offs and original Pottery barn products there at reasonable prices- good luck!

The very best way to obtain home decor at a rock bottom price is to always be on the lookout for these types of places:
Garage/Yard Sales
The GoodWill
The Salvation Army
Thrift Shops
Second Hand Shops
Consignment Shops
Your Friends and Family's Basements and Attics
Look past the finish on furniture and pay attention to the lines. You can refinish or paint just about anything. A $3.00 lamp base at the Salvation Army that is ugly can have new life with a can of spray paint.
Gaudy picture frames can become great frames for a mirror. Take the drawers out of a dresser, sand and stain them along with the dresser top, then paint the dresser black. A great look, indeed. An outdoor bench is a great asset in a house. You can get anything from rugs to liquor decanters at thrift shops. Shop for pillows in the clearance sections of Marshall's, TJ Max and Home Goods. Do not overlook new or used outdoor furniture to use inside. I made a great headboard out of a three paneled door turned sideways after filling in the doorknob hole and the hinge screws.
Find out when bulk pick up day is conducted in surrounding towns. Go out with a truck and you will be amazed at what people are throwing away. The best time to shop the Salvation Army and the GoodWill is in October, November and December when people are getting rid of their old furniture and replacing it for the holidays.
Paint is the least expensive and single most dramatic change you an make in any room. Pick warm colors and please do not pick white paint for your walls because it seems like a safe way out. Color in your home will instantly add the homey look you are after. Really.
Remember, buy only things you like and are capable of fixing up or you will end up with a bunch of stuff you hate in the long run.
Good Luck to you in your new home.

You can get spray varnish that won't yellow and use it first…Try to find something not glossy….. So that when you paint them the paint will adhere to them…..They will become brittle no matter what…However you will be giving them some extra layers …And that should increase their life….Have Fun

cover a feature wall in raw multi-colored slate tiles. they can be glued right to the wall. they have great textures and wondeful earthy colors, especially when lit by track lighting.
