Beach Home Décor- Make It Alluring & Attention Grabbing
When it comes to designing and doing up their homes, some people would spare no effort to do it up just the way they want. And when the matter concerns a beach home, it goes without saying that they would also have enough financial and monetary resources to do up the home in a way that is quite alluring and delights both the residents as well as guests. After all, there is some meretricious and element of one-upmanship that is an integral part of decorating a home with beach home décor.
There are so many people who love the beaches. Beautiful palm fronds waving in the breeze, the sun dipping down into the azure sea or perhaps a white beach– it is so welcoming and inviting as to just draw your breath away in its captivating wake. When it comes to beach home décor, the basic idea is to recreate the magic of verdant beaches in the confines of one’s own home so that one can feel a sense of being transported into the magical world of a beach that can indeed allure your senses and feel so delighted.
One of the ways in which you can get some beach home décor done up at home is by doing it up in some coastal colors. The colors of a home define its very spirit and essence because these create an ambience and a mood that is quite unmistakable and so very distinctive. Using se green or turquoise blue or perhaps a shade of red like a captivating sunset can do the trick. It is also possible to do up your home with some palm type potted plants that give the look and feel of a beach right in your home. After all, beach home décor does not necessarily mean that you spend a fortune. It has to be reasonable and yet stylish, fashionable yet cost effective.
As far as beach home décor goes, you can use wicker or wood furniture. Garden chairs and maybe some cane furniture would also do great as it is light weight and easy to carry around. It also gives a bit of airy and less cluttered feeling to the home, quite the way a proper beach home should be. It is possible to be classy as well as economical when one is looking for beach home décor ideas.

You can get spray varnish that won't yellow and use it first…Try to find something not glossy….. So that when you paint them the paint will adhere to them…..They will become brittle no matter what…However you will be giving them some extra layers …And that should increase their life….Have Fun

cover a feature wall in raw multi-colored slate tiles. they can be glued right to the wall. they have great textures and wondeful earthy colors, especially when lit by track lighting.

The very best way to obtain home decor at a rock bottom price is to always be on the lookout for these types of places:
Garage/Yard Sales
The GoodWill
The Salvation Army
Thrift Shops
Second Hand Shops
Consignment Shops
Your Friends and Family's Basements and Attics
Look past the finish on furniture and pay attention to the lines. You can refinish or paint just about anything. A $3.00 lamp base at the Salvation Army that is ugly can have new life with a can of spray paint.
Gaudy picture frames can become great frames for a mirror. Take the drawers out of a dresser, sand and stain them along with the dresser top, then paint the dresser black. A great look, indeed. An outdoor bench is a great asset in a house. You can get anything from rugs to liquor decanters at thrift shops. Shop for pillows in the clearance sections of Marshall's, TJ Max and Home Goods. Do not overlook new or used outdoor furniture to use inside. I made a great headboard out of a three paneled door turned sideways after filling in the doorknob hole and the hinge screws.
Find out when bulk pick up day is conducted in surrounding towns. Go out with a truck and you will be amazed at what people are throwing away. The best time to shop the Salvation Army and the GoodWill is in October, November and December when people are getting rid of their old furniture and replacing it for the holidays.
Paint is the least expensive and single most dramatic change you an make in any room. Pick warm colors and please do not pick white paint for your walls because it seems like a safe way out. Color in your home will instantly add the homey look you are after. Really.
Remember, buy only things you like and are capable of fixing up or you will end up with a bunch of stuff you hate in the long run.
Good Luck to you in your new home.

Target and even K-mart sometimes offer similar but cheaper products. They were actually sued not so long ago for selling decor in their stores that resembled Pottery Barns stuff. Also, you might want to consider looking on e-bay or Amazon marketplace, as they do have really good knock-offs and original Pottery barn products there at reasonable prices- good luck!
